I’m Paul. I clean the outside of houses in Airdrie and across North Lanarkshire, and I’ve been doing it since 2016.

What I do
Seven things, all on the outside of your house: window cleaning, gutter clearing, uPVC fascia and soffit cleaning, pressure washing, roof cleaning, solar panel cleaning and conservatory cleaning.
That spread is deliberate. Most window cleaners do windows. Most gutter firms do gutters. If you want the whole outside of the house sorted you usually end up ringing three different people and chasing three different diaries. With me it’s one visit, one bill, and someone who already knows your house.
How the work is done
Windows are cleaned with a water-fed pole and pure water. Pure water is deionised — the minerals are stripped out of it. When ordinary tap water dries on glass, everything that was dissolved in it stays behind, and that is what the white spots are. Pure water dries leaving nothing. It also means first and second floor windows are reached from the ground, so there are no ladders leaning on your walls and nobody clambering about above your garden.
Gutters and rooflines are a different job and I treat them as one. Those go out under Airdrie Gutters, which is the same me, the same round and the same phone — just the part of the work that is about water getting off your roof rather than glass looking clean.
Since 2016
I started in 2016 and I am still working the same round. That is the part I would want to know if I were the one hiring: not how big somebody is, but whether they will still be turning up next spring.
